Before opening her own private legal practice, Ms. Kilgore worked for the federal court as an attorney for three years. She feels this prepared her for early success in the courtroom. Ms. Kilgore earned her Bachelor of Arts at Western Kentucky University where she graduated summa cum laude. She went on to earn a juris doctor (J.D.) from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
